Moving Tip of the Week: Mover Myths

Over the years, Hollywood has given moving companies a bad reputation. As your Cincinnati movers, we've decided that this week's tip should stand to dispel such stereotypes.

Mover Myth #1: Professional Wrestlers will be your movers
  • Contrary to popular belief, not all movers are 7 feet tall and have muscles the size of the moon. In fact, most movers are regular Joes, just like you or me. You may also find that the smaller guy scan out perform the herculean movers of the industry.
Mover Myth #2: Movers requesting tips
  • Some times, television or the silver screen can depict movers holding their hands out for expected gratuity, or breaking a customer's furniture because they were not tipped. While tipping is customary in this industry, it is NEVER expected. Move Cheap Cincinnati Movers will never ask for or expect a tip. We simply want to do a good job for our customers, Period.
Mover Myth #3: Bad Attitude Movers
  • Another Hollywood cliche is the attitude or appearance of movers. On the screen, they're depicted as mean men hiding behind thick mustaches. They even get upset if they're asked to move an item someplace specific or multiple times. Rest assured, we are a Cincinnati moving company. We understand that our job is to be your mover. We will place your items where you request, and will be happy to move them several times until you're happy with where they are rested. Additionally, our movers are always uniformed and come complete with a positive attitude.
We hope we've put your mind at ease with what you might see on TV. When you have your next moving experience, be sure to welcome it with a positive outlook. We always come to our customers with the same. From all of us at the Move Cheap Cincinnati Movers, we hope your move is a great one!
