It's that time of year again!  The leaves are falling, the time is changing, and we all gain that extra hour of coveted sleep! 

Remember that on Sunday, November 4th 2012 at 2:00 a.m. to set your clocks back one hour.

We'd also like to remind our customers that our office and field hours also change to accommodate the time change.  Our new hours throughout fall and winter are as follows:

                              Retail/Office Hours:  Mon - Sat   9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
                                                                 Sundays  10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

                                        Field Hours:    Sun - Sat    8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Fuel In Rental Trucks

Now, when you rent a U-Haul, your dealer will be able to give you a printout of exactly how many gallons will need to replaced in the truck before you return it!  This means no more overfilling, under-filling, or fees and puts money back in your wallet!

Spring Cleaning!

Today, March 20th , marks the first day of spring. A time synonymous with Spring cleaning and organizing. Don't Forget To Spring Forward!

The time change is here again, and on March 11th, 2012 it will be time to set those clocks forward one hour at 2:00 AM, hence the name "spring forward".

Once we've "sprung forward" by one hour, it'll be getting darker later! This is great news for customers as your Move Cheap® Cincinnati Movers can now work later and accept later jobs. Starting March, 12th, 2012, Move Cheap® will be extending our field hours till 9:00 pm. The Spring is only officially 3 days away, and as always, the Move Cheap® Cincinnati Movers will be ready to work late to help you move around your schedule.

Thanks for your excellent question, Shelly!  At Move Cheap®, we offer three solutions to accurately help you judge how many hours of service are necessary to complete your moving needs:  

• You can use our exclusive online Move Cheap® Moving Calculator.  Our Moving Calculator was designed so that our potential customers can answer the questions listed on the page, and be given an estimated price and hours needed to complete the service.  We are happy to report that we are the ONLY moving company in Cincinnati to offer this type of solution to our customers.
• You can call our retail office at 513-843-6719 seven days a week to speak with a customer  service expert who will be able to talk about your needs and give you an idea of the time necessary to complete your moving task.
• At Move Cheap®, we also give our customers the option for a free in-home estimate if you reside within 20 miles of our retail office.  A friendly Move Cheap® employee will arrive at your home to assess the items you're moving and then discuss the time you'll need to complete your move.

Moving Tip of the Week: Lamp Shades

As your choice for moving in Cincinnati, Move Cheap® is dedicated to bringing you all the moving tips possible for a smooth move.  One item that is easy for our potential customers to forget to care for are lamp shades.  As you're packing your belongings, lamp shades are easily one of the last items you'd ever think to pack.  We want to remind you that these items are easily damaged if not packed in a box properly.  Lamp shades come in a variety of materials such as paper, fabric, plastic, and glass.  If one is damaged, it may be near impossible to find a matching replacement.  Be sure to place your lamp shades in a box and protect them with bubble wrap and/or packing paper when necessary.  After sealing the box, it is extremely important to label that box as FRAGILE so that your Move Cheap® Cincinnati Movers will recognize that the box will need to be loaded in a safe place in your rental moving truck.
